Pan by putting the cursor in on the map and moving it. Zoom controls are at the upper right corner of the map. Zooming will zoom into the center of the map. You can zoom to a particular location with a combination of panning and zooming. Marker clustering collects the markers into spatially close groups for easier visibility.
